2. DUTY OF INFORMATION
Law no. 58/2019, of 8 August, hereinafter “LPDP” and the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, hereinafter “GDPR”) ensure the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data. ‘Personal data’ means any information of any nature and regardless of its medium, including sound and image, relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, and the protection does not cover the data of legal persons. An identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity (for example, his or her name associated with his or her telephone number or e-mail address).
3. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

lifemaronesa.eu processes Users’ data:

In the event that the data provided belongs to a third party, the User guarantees that they have informed said third party of the aspects contained in this document and have obtained their authorisation to provide their data to lifemaronesa.eu for the purposes indicated.
5. RETENTION PERIOD
lifemaronesa.eu only keeps and processes your personal data for as long as is necessary or required to fulfil the purposes described above, applying information retention criteria appropriate to each processing and in line with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
lifemaronesa.eu keeps personal data in its systems in such a way that it is possible to identify data subjects according to the following criteria:

lifemaronesa.eu has implemented the appropriate technical and organisational security measures to ensure the security of the personal data provided by the User, in order to prevent its alteration, loss, processing and/or unauthorised access, taking into account the current state of technology, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which they are exposed.
Personal data are processed with the level of protection legally required to ensure their security and prevent their alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access, taking into account the state of the technology, the user being aware and accepting that Internet security measures are not impregnable.
When accessing personal data, lifemaronesa.eu undertakes to:
– Store them by means of legally enforceable security measures of a technical and organisational nature that guarantee their security, thus preventing alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access, in accordance with the state of the technology at any given time, the nature of the data and the possible risks to which they are exposed;
– Use the data exclusively for the purposes previously defined;
– Implement physical security measures to protect the premises;
– Ensure that the data are processed only by employees whose intervention is necessary to fulfil the request of the data subject, who are bound by the duty of secrecy and confidentiality. If the information may be disclosed to third parties for these purposes, they must be obliged to maintain due confidentiality in accordance with the provisions of this document.
If lifemaronesa.eu cooperates with other entities that involve the transfer of personal data, these entities will be obliged to adopt the necessary technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, unauthorised access or any other type of unlawful processing.
